Nice placement. It will warrant a different sort of jump test, I suppose.

a lot less spooky with the advent of pads. when i first did it (1989) i got a good adrenaline buzz from that last move (and so did my spotter).

overrated.

As in 'not as fun as reputed' or 'not that hard'?

The latter: who cares?

The former: that 's what you get for having expectations. For the proper perspective see my former comments about the latter. Embody and live free.

Porch the climatologist predicts 100% chance of rain on your parade.

It's the only forecast he ever gets right...

Who watches the TV weatherman?

All your words are fancy-talk for "Climatologists understand why they don't know shit." The rest of us don't care why y'all don't know shit... we just know you don't. You can keep your haughty overpriced explanations of the shortcomings of your field to yourself.

Try laughing at yourself sometimes too... 100% chance of rain on your parade is funny. Enjoy that.

Kinda like how you focus in on the fancy-talk half of a sentence when you have no rebuttal to the second half, which is the point.

Failure to address the point flows it to me. The argument is strong enough that you can't even address the point of it.

Meteorology is a legit science.
It's just that it has crap for accuracy or resolution when used for predictive modeling and is really only worthwhile when applied forensically.

It has crap for accuracy maybe 1 - 2 weeks in advance. But predictive models for tropical systems have been improving significantly in recent years. Some can be damned near spot on in the 1-2 day range, which can be ample time for people to GTFO to safe areas.

Don't let the haters bring you down porchie.
