I've somewhat lost my love for the 90 minute. Last bottle I had left me with a much different feeling than my first.

Really? Racer 5 seems like the AV high-end of the "sweet IPA" spectrum. I much prefer the less sweet IPAs, and really really like the Lagunitas Maximas. It's like my fave. Full bodied, tart, sweet, and still very drinkable.

From Bear Republic, I dig on the Hop Rod Rye. Yum yum yum.

tried some Pliney the Elder (double IPA?) in colorado this weekend. really good, the aromatics make it worth it alone, smells like grapefruit a bit...at least the foam does. finishes really nice. strong, gud.

it's amazing. 10.5 ABV, aged in rum barrels, black and bitter and rich. unfortunately, it's also $8.50/12oz bottle and the store limits sales to two bottles/person.

don't worry porchie - as you grow up your tastes will change and you'll start understanding why adults like the things they do.

Try the Xingu, you may like it.

Alcohol is what Guinness is lacking. You like it because it is sweet and syrupy like a dark liquid candy. You could never really get drunk on it.

Now, personally, I like a dark beer with some actual kick to it. They had a keg of this at the Take for like 2 weeks and I was basically the only one drinking it:

Yum.

rock art stumpjumper gnarly stout. wasn't that gnarly, but went well with a pint of maple blondie ben & jerry's.

rock art was sued this summer by monster energy drink for use of the name "vermonster". wonder when specialized will jump on them for stumpjumper.
