There's very few musicians who release the actual orginals of their songs. What you're hearing on an album has been revised, edited, etc.

And I tend to dislike live shows. But that's more because I'm a private music listener. I prefer to enjoy it on my own terms, not all crowded with other people bopping or annoying me with their bullshit.

^ Do you have any Deadbeat? You should. I can only assume you're already on to Rhythm and Sound and Maurizio. You may also like the Maurizio von Oswald Trio, although they're a bit less dub techno and a bit more experimental electronica.
