My GGp and his commanding officer were out on patrol and ran into some German soldiers.

My GGp got shot and fell into a river or something. The bullet hit a metal cigarette case which he was carrying in his breast pocket. (which I also have, it still has part of a cigarette with blood on it.)

His partner then shot and killed the Germans and in good fashion they looted the hell out of them.

Thats the jist of it.

Of sorts, indeed. Splitting wood, came upon a large ant that wasn't so happy to have been disturbed. I still have a slightly difficult time doing moving insect photography with the macro lens. It would be great if they were motionless. Ants don't listen. Oh well.
