So we went boating

So we went boating

On the US/MEXICO border, found some shit. Made me wish it was hot as hell again. Can't wait for summer 2010.

all the good shit is 3 miles in either direction from Seminole Canyon state park, access from pecos river high bridge boat ramp. National recreation area along the US shore, so backcountry boat camping is fully legit. gonna camp in this cave next time:

that pic is of the mouth of seminole canyon, if you go out to the main Rio Grand channel on the right of that photo, there is rock in both directions for miles. We tried to go into Seminole itself, but they have buoys just out of frame to the left that say "no boats"

total bs, i'm sure there is much more climbing up that canyon too...

I have childhood memories of my sister getting seasick in our ski boat in the middle of Amistad.

You guys need some bigger boats. 4realz.

we did see a really crazy tunnel on the US side, about 400 yards long with three entrances...who knows where it went to or what it was for. maybe for small mining carts?
