the new venom shoes are good and grabby. the older snake named shoes (the orange ones) were good too. maybe less downturned and better edging.

Toivo speaks truth. i always keep at least two pair in my bag, right now it's a pair of Dragon lace ups, but I always have my Sportiva Cobras. Best all around shoe ever made. Good on slab, over hanging, routes, .. they're leather so they tend to mold to your feet and become really comfortable. If you can live with orange you won't be disappointed.

oh yeah, and they are also the least stanky shoe I've ever owned. The venoms were another favorite of mine, pretty much they exact same last only in green with toe rubber, but they've reissued the Cobra so they're easier to find.

5x is my good all around shoe , easy to wear , not hurt , notime to break in
but is not good for small edge boldering i think it too soft
need other hard insert support shoe (like mugen)or any downturn shoe

Toe is almost blown out in my right shoe, fuckin 2 month old cobras. Think I got a defective pair..the soft skinny mustached faggots at rock and snow refused to recognize this and banded together, 3 deep, publicly denouncing my footwork in front of all the fuckable yuppie milfs browsing the winterwear.

What else could I do but spit on the floor and walk out? Pwnt

I've had the same pair of cobras for about 5 years. Resoled once at rock and resole.

i thought that la sportiva got rid of cobras. my feet stopped being orange. then, while looking around the Italian Dolomites, i discovered that they still made those shoes. then i noticed a new shoe, and got that instead anyways . progress as deflected attention and diverted gaze.
