This question cannot be serious. Did you not like JTree because a) you could not get up the V4's, b) you could not get a decent campsite, c) you were overwhelmed by the crowds, or d) eveything you tried was choss? A "yes" to any of these questions indicates operator error.

This may be the first time in history that someone with an actual choice in the matter faced this dilemma. You see gazillions of PHX climbers flocking to Jtree every weekend. I've never even heard of a SoCal or vacationing climber opting for Queen Crek over Chossua, uh I mean Joshua Tree.

camping?

stay at the 29 palms inn and have margaritas and steaks by the pool while keeping an eye peeled for the white owl.

So I give this friend of mine the dope spot in J-Tree to boulder, thanks to Kix, .. because he's afraid everything is going to be "chossy" .. and this sandbagger doesn't even go. Why?? the Hike. He blamed his girlfriend. Homo. Anyone meet a tall skinny dude at Priest Draw last week? He said he got a good tour.

This doesn't make him a homo, it makes him some combination of stupid, sad, and whipped.

Somehow Oldschool ended up becoming my nextdoor neighbor and told me about this underground business. Sounds loverly. How expansive are we talking?

@ Joy ... Since you boulder and are totally legit, you will probably never know just how sad that particular situation really is. Heh. She is at least extremely cool. And she is super nice.

I'm going to have to go to Jtree now check out the new spot.

i have no idea. i barely knew who the chucklehead was until he showed up in my town drunk and clothed in the cosmos

apparently our parent's live in the same small town along the puget sound and we've both backslid enough in life at the same time to end up here together

small world, truly.
