Okay I'll be nice.
Any time in November-March is pretty much winner. During this period of time you could experience temps in the 20-30 degree range, or up in the 50-60s. It's pretty hit or miss temp wise. It can be sunny and 70 in the middle of December.
October can be good, April can be good, but it's warmer and the sloperz aren't as tacky. Weather can be annoying. If it rains you just have to drive a few hours to another place. R-town, LRC, HP, Rumbling, Boone, all these are great destinations. I'd fly into Atlanta and drive up to Chatty and stay there.
If you come I will give you tours. In return for this information I expect you to spray me down with strobe and battery beta.
