It rained like a motherfucker in Washington. I've just had a wander around the dunes in Oregon and and heading south. I'll be in Yosemite by Sunday. Oregon is pretty fucking rad so far.

I had an Arrogant Bastard last night with dinner. It was good.

Also, I need to get a pad somewhere between here and Yosemite as the stores in Vancouver only had shitty little ones because the "season" was over. Suggestions? Will I be able to get one in the valley?

Yeah, I meant to get shit sorted in Vancouver earlier so I'd be able to spend some time there, but it didn't happen. I drove through west Washington and down the coast, so it was good from a touron perspective. Thanks for the REI beta.

= where and how to park and sleep in the valley 'under the radar' of strict camping rules and ranger enforcement.

Fuck me, Norcal is gorgeous. I woke up this morning to find I had a flat tire, and changing it meant that the camp host found me before I could ghost out. $28 for a campsite? Fuck that noise. Anyway, I'm almost in Sacramento.

KIX, I'm sending a PM now.

REI only had Madrock fat pads or whatever they're called. The dude there called a bunch of places for me, but it seems there are no Mondo's or 12 Gauges in Sacramento or Davis. I guess I'll just pay a premium in the valley, or hold out until Bishop.

Cool story, huh?

Moon pads should be pretty easy to come by in Bishop. Just ask around for Wills.
