I played with a Canon 85mm f/1.2 L on a 7d body yesterday. Goddamn does it take beautiful photos. It's unfortunate the autofocus is so slow. Although the 2nd revision is supposed to a bit faster, that's still too slow to be useful outside of portraits. 1.2 aperture is so nice.

I used to own the 85mm f/1.8 and the AF was fast as hell. Super nice piece of kit, if you like that focal length.

I played with a 7d tonight. The machine gun shutter is fantastic for capturing people falling off plastic. I am fairly confident, barring a 5dmk3 announcement of win, that this will be my next camera. It dwarfs my shitty XTi in so many ways. HD macro video of bugs? Yes, please!
