Not a peep.

I remember going to a Canon 5d demo, because a bunch of the CNN guys were considering the 5d for shooting HD video in the field. I asked the Canon rep when Canon was going to offer an unprocessed, direct from the sensor, video bitstream on their DSLR's. He brushed aside my question saying that Canon didn't feel that RAW video was something that people needed from a DSLR.

I was FLOORED. I mean really? Do they even realize what the 5d is being used for in the video production world? 4k RAW is the WHOLE POINT of shooting on a camera like the RED. You can shoot to your hearts content and then easily tweak and edit and not have to deal with the crappy H.264 codec. Way to have a finger on the pulse of the industry Canon.

I would guess that Canon is releasing a camcorder with a full sized 35mm sensor (with larger pixels calibrated for video), that shoots RAW. Something to compete with the Panasonic F100 and the Sony NEX FS100 and F3L. Something with a PL mount and a nice onboard solid state hard drive. We'll see.

This is photography OF SORTS because it is a composite video of 600+ images. It's pretty cool. Click 1080p and watch full screen. Love the lightning.

Im in the city. Remington .22 pellet rifle:

Hadn't shot it in a while, so it took ten shots or so before I tightened up my groups. It's fucking deadly this thing. Shoots perfect little round holes in 1/2 inch plywood.

Those fuckers gonna die.

Yeah scopes are weak sauce. I'm just not a talent behind the trigger.

Shit these rats are freaking TINY. They are almost like a mouse, smaller than a chipmunk. They're kinda hard to hit. I'll take all the help I can get. 3x to find my target. Zoom in to 7x to take my shot. Headless rat. BING!

If I was out in the stix I'd be using a Savage 0.17 Hornady Rimfire Magnum
