I want a motorcycle pretty badly. Not something fast. Just something sexy and fun.

what i learned to ride at about 5 years of age. my brother worked really hard to save enough money to pay for it. i think it was like $750 new that year and I didn't ride it for 4-5 more years after he bought it. 3 speed with an auto clutch! it was a 1977 model year and had the paint job of the bottom pic.

Those Honda 50's were awesome. When I was a kid a neighbor had one and I would ride bitch up in the hills with him. Then pops got a Trail 90, at 14 I figured out how to hotwire it and took it all over the local hills when my parents weren't around. Two years later I ran into a canyon road block and got busted for no motorcycle license or registration. I blew off the ticket and ended up getting community service and lost my big toenail because a dumbass forger lied (big surprise) about knowing how to run a floor stripper. At least the injury got me out of the last 15 hours......

Leaving Friday for the maiden voyage of the KLR. SLC, UT -> Hurricane, UT -> Tuaweep, AZ (North rim of Grand Canyon) and back. Hope the weather is good and we don't die.

Or for like a third the cost, my buddy will sell you his XR650 DS setup with the desert tank.

You could even drop it in the dirt without shitting yourself because you are going to drop a small fortune on plastics.

Man those beemers are nice bikes......more than I wanted to spend. Heated grips would have been nice, AFAIK they are stock on the beemers. Rain, hail and some snow was experienced on the last day of our 970 mile trip. Good times.

New handlebars, broken lever fixed, started second kick after sitting for almost a year. Life is good.

I like the bar end mirrors, but not the giant clutch and brake levers. Minor details if you got a screaming deal on a bike like that...
