the races where people say they aren't racing are the biggest races going.

like, 'let's go do the tour de ill, shall we? up here and down there- nothing like a race, just like, touring, you know? what do you think? sunday morning say? for a leisurely sunday ride.'

and then sunday morning it's 3-2-1-go and the 'tour' begins.

So many freds out there all kitted up, spinning to finish ahead of the grandparents on tandems and toddlers in bob trailers. Was fun. Got to see some new parts of the city I wouldn't have otherwise.

montreal is good like that. if you're looking for mountain unicycles in a major city, it's a good bet. love les quebecoise libre. it's a pleasantly mixed up city.

where did you eat?

schwartz's deli is the one place there we always hit up. i've heard lots of good things about this place called au pied de cochon. fulfilling a love of pleasure in excess.

blue eh? beer+bikes= a decent balance

people and their smoked meat sammiches. if you're going to be discriminating about something, i suppose that's a worthy topic for obsession. fact--> the winner of the 2005 canadian national bouldering championships ate a smoked meat sammich before competing. proof of the pure power that subsists between 2 thin slices of rye.
