Screw those fools and their non bikes. Let's talk about how BADASS my new all rigid 1998 Rockhopper is. Seriously, me and the wife are going to have some sweet all-Specialized rides to teh fairgrounds this summer. 1337!

I'm not comfortable unless i'm on a specialized bike also. all other bikes just don't feel like an extension of my body like my old stumpjumper did.

I am looking for that matching 2002 Stumpjumper in baby blue for a real his and hers effect... but the hopper was free and the wife just needs a townie.

true, that does look like kicksled business, but a bike is a way of getting by in winter. we can make ourselves suffer.

bikes would be way cooler if one could just drop it where the riding stops and pick it up afterwards.

Yo. what's so good about Brooks saddles? I have some Brooks leather bar tape, and it's slippery compared to other tape/grips, which is like shitty. Plus if you hit cars sometimes, that shiz gets beat and it's expensive.

I have had the same experience you have with the bar tape. VO's elkhide sew-ons are vurrnice, long lasting and more resistant to wear.

I've had two brooks. I bent the rails on the first one after a year. I put that one on my city bike and replaced it with a new one that is going strong. They are warrantied for first two years for that. They brake in much like a glove unlike synthetic ones. I hope you don't hit any more cars.

word. when i say "hit" cars, i don't mean str 8 blasting a red at 50mph and slamming into a 1995 bmw m3 on a specialized langster... it's more they get close enough to longarm (and i'm t-rex) or shoulder nudge, i'll either grab the rig for a ride, or punch the vehicle.
