Playin' guitar.

Playin' guitar.

Postby stonefiend » Mon Jan 17, 2011 9:15 pm

After a year of playing following a decade of not, it's a lot more like riding a bike than climbing.

.. got this $200 rig and think it'll sound like a martin in 5 years.

no, even covered in a thick layer of dust, bill (my guitar) has the sweetest tone. sometimes sitting in the corner he will catch someone talking at 220hz and he'll sing sympathetically.

Pianists don't do that shit. No one else does that shit. Show some dignity, fucking guitarists.

Oh please. STFU for once. Pianists DO do it, as do violinists, cellists, etc. Pretty much any talented musician who is not playing a wind instrument will make "self-satisfied" faces from time to time. WTF do you even mean by "self-satisfied?" Maybe they are enjoying themselves in that moment, maybe they are just getting into the music. why does this offend you?

Probably because his face registers nothing but frustration has he keeps screwing up the only three chords while on his 9th hour of trying to learn "Margaritaville".
