I personally think it's a little too American Federal to go with the eastern scrolls. I would be more apt to pair the furnishings with American Modern art, steering clear of Pollock as his pieces are too busy to bring the necessary calm to a dining room. Perhaps a Diebenkorn from the Ocean Park series.
