So what's the big deal about gettinng so worked up that you are now protesting FDR or the Federal Reserve Bank or LBJ's Social Security? I mean, even if some of the points are valid, it's not like anyone was worked up over FDR when someone else was in charge of the deficit spending. The fact that so many are sooooo worked up so quickly smacks of blatant butt-hurtedness. It's like, hey... if you really had a problem with this shit, should you not have asked your leaders to do something about it when they had the chance?
Oh no, man, hey why worry about FDR when I have so much equity credit and these tax cuts are just great?!?!?

It's funny you bring this up. You say "shit eaters say they want small government, but then exerts more control." I agree completely, but I think this perfectly defines the Republican party. The GOP says they want small government and then they go and create the Department of NannsyState Security. They say they want reduced spending, but then rack up billion in deficit that is eventually found to be wasted in poorly managed defense contracts. They say the "liberals" are ruining this country, without having the balls to admit that deficit spending to implement massive social control (war on drugs) and legislated morality IS a liberal, progressive agenda. It just progresses us to a place in which our liberty is limited and we incarcerate more people than any society ever in the history of man. I see shiteaters on both "sides" of the aisle.
