The Rake

OK found The Rake. Gonna go this weekend, probably after a stroll through the Tate Modern. Judging by your other recommendations, I'm sure it'll be worth the trip.

last night at The Rake: Acorn IPA, Penguin Porter, Flying Dog Double Dog Double Pale Ale
all of which were not bad, that last being pretty fucking good.

tonight at Off Broadway: a dark and stormy, Dogfish 90 Minute IPA, Flying Dog Raging Bitch IPA, Goose Island IPA
who knew that all the while I've been looking for a real American style IPA in London, I would have found it 3 blocks from our flat. PSYCHED (and a little drunk)

What is kinda fucked is that your version of an awesome IPA selection is basically a month of the rotating IPA tap at the Pay-n-Take. Flying Dog? In london I would be ordering flying dogs? Wierd.

Dark and stormys tho... nothing really helps me the next day like drinking ginger in my booze.

It is seriously the best around. The Raging Bitch was not as good as the 90-min, imo.
Pay-n-Take should open a Hackney franchise, if that's the case.
Dark and stormies poured liberally.
Psyched.

I think I would be drinking TsingTao 24/7 instead of the water. Brushing my teeth with that shit and shit.

Founders.

My brother was practically fornicating with the bottle. I wasn't so impressed. Than again, IPAs have fallen out of favor with my palate since I started drinking scotch more regular like. Still, I appreciate a good beer tasting.
