Wow LAKERS !!!!1

after a big laker win i like to read the other teams newspapers. i liked this article in the Boston Globe:

http://www.boston.com/sports/columnists/massarotti/2010/06/even_in_absence_of_final_title.html

those celtics were a great, great team.

Pierce (how long did he suffer before this team came together?)
Allen (a great, great super sonic)
Garnett (the greatest timberwolf)
Wallace (a great, great piston)

Doc Rivers - a great coach.

Rajon Rondo - in my fantasy he joins the Lakers.

the celtics punked the lakes and were more composed than the lakers for the better part of three quarters last night before they completely ran out of gas.

who woulda thunk it? Ron Artest raises to the celtics challenge to beat them on offense?

how awesome was it when he and Pierce tangled and the players squelched it, and the refs let it go?

the nba season is a giant marathon experience and the best team with a little more gas left in it's tank at the end won the season race.

gotta mention Andrew Bynum. the young man may never have good knees, but he proved this post season to have a heart as big as his body.

Fishers 3 point shot was bigger than, possibly, any other giant three point shot he's ever made.

Ray Allen's foul on Kobe and the free throws that kobe sank (free throws!)
were giant.

free throws, or the ones he didn't make - almost overshadowed the great performance of Pau Gasol. if gasol makes all those misses - the game would have been in laker control a lot earlier.

now i want to mention Kobe Bryant. played hurt all season. heart as big as Andrew Bynum.

great to see Kobe let it all hang out and relax in the post-game interviews.

taking Magic Johnson to dinner!

what should have been forgettable baskets for Kobe the mid-air catch pivot and shoot on the right hand side of the basket, and the typical bryant rise and shoot 20 foot jumper from just inside the right side of the arc are burned in to my memory. unforgettable.

why don't you just shut the fuck up with that stupid OKC talk?

first, i don't WANT to see any team WIN every single year. it's not good for any fan.

but this year's Lakers will not be next year's Lakers. period. 1/2 that bench is in the fuckn' shitter (genuflects while weeping gently, hands folded, murmuring small pleas to God). while Ron Artest, imo, was pretty much the X-factor; his D was the difference. get him the fuck out.

Odom or scrodumb? dude don't got one. get him the fuck out of there.

Bynum? s/b the best C in the league - and don't mention D-How as he is 1-dimensional on any given night. instead he is chronically knee hampered. again. over and over. Bosh is in the market, but it'd look weird to toss a wounded man, especially one that was key to bringing in 2 titles.

ugh. The New York Knickgerbockers added to their $100,000,000 dollar misery by picking up a dude that has probably peaked on an 'eh' career and is EXTREMELY 1-dimensional.

WHERE TEH LEBRONZORZ LANDS!!

hopefully Chicago. with wiff Derick Wose and mofugger that'd be some nice ass shit bitch.

OOoops.. Bosh to the Cavs? you had Zyldrunas Igauaskas, aka "Big Zeke", "The Big Zizzle" AND Shaq and you couldn't win? and Bosh will make this happen?

But really... who cares what people from Ohio think?

I'm psyched to see Lebron in Miamah. He can puff hooters with my homie Ricky Williams.

he was clad in very wholesome, down to earth attire last night. if you judged that book by its cover, he'd be eating milk and cookies and watching Lawrence Welk reruns with his mother.
