and that accounts for the numbness in the leg.

i put off neck surgery for four years.

after i had it - i thought to myself:

"wtf? why'd i wait so long?"

They're not too bad yet, so I'm just gonna put in the time/effort/rest and hope.

Hangboard sessions like WHOA.

just dont assign any time-period expectations to your self-healing rest and recovery period.

your 4 week diagnosis for the recovery of my wrist separation took 6+ months to heal.
good thing I promptly broke the other wrist so I did not dwell on any expectations created by you. lol.

sorry to hear you will not be around.

Heh--sorry about that. And my diagnosis of your wrist was based on you actually resting, not "resting," KIX-style.

Yeah, I'm not terribly invested in the time; I just want to get better. Upside: I can't carry heavy packs.

MRI results tomorrow.

no i'm on the other side of town. however, the people camped around me are creepy meth necks, so i'm sure it's just a matter of time till one of them dumps a can of gasoline on an old tire and then lights it on fire. i'm wondering how long till a forest closure.

They used to do that shit on the edge of the swimming hole near our river house; we'd accidentally step on the leftover radial wires and earn a[nother] tetanus shot.

Take pics wherever you go; I'm living vicariously for a while.

Injuries suck. My summer is done and, in a warped sort of way, it's comforting to know others are in my "injury boat". Not that I wish this on anyone else...it's just that I'm bitter.
