i'm extremely jealous of all of you who already have this capability. i'm finished with civil service jobs, been great but i need a job i can do anywhere in the world.

so...any suggestions on a creative job you can do remotely? already considered male prostituting.

the best I can come up with is to work normal jobs until I tap out the market potential here/can't stand it anymore, hopefully saving up some cash along the way. then: master's, online so I can travel/avoid academia as much as possible (considering NAU and NMSU). followed by: teaching classes online for some degree-mill college where the prequesite for teaching is pretty much just having a master's. my boss teaches a class or two at a time in addition to being a workaholic at our office, and she said teaching the classes is worlds easier/less work than taking them.

Anything highly technical where 99% of people can't figure it out and can be accomplished from your laptop with wifi is what you're looking for. Zero in further on niches where people are motivated to spend money to solve their problem/make more money.

Learn to code php/python/ruby, you'll never lack for work. Learn how to rank websites top of page one in competitive niches, you'll never lack for work. Figure out whatever the fuck it is that Kix does and you'll be just as gay. Push fat loss pills to Oprah's market and while the FTC might be on your ass, you'll be ballin if you OBEY ONE SIMPLE RULE!

Go check out eLance, Freelancer, etc.
India, China, Vietnam, Colombia, Mexico, Eastern Europe.... churning out a million web programmers all willing to work for next to nothing.

If you want to work remote as a programmer you need to either be a total fucking bad-ass, have a unique legacy skill set, be a serious DBA, know something like SAP or Oracle Financials inside and out or be really good at an emerging product or language (erlang, Tokyo Cabinet, etc).


Better option is to get good at data analysis and data entry (particularly with financial and accounting systems).

Im still managing to find this kind of work. The ability to speak english well and actually living in America is HUGE to some.
