1) Set for all users default setting with WB as "foe".
2) Go nuts with word philters.
3) Check on him in a month.

I think the periodic random "temporary" banning would be a good start.

I mean - if you're not going to go back to the funny word filters (which would be my first vote - and if you do it please let me know so that I can un-ignore him) then some sort of banning is worthwhile.

I am more than willing to contribute to the word filters, that is my favorite part of being an admin. Blimp is really good with coming up with awesome filters. He was a major contributor to the "woot woot" equals "my boyfriend gets BJs from hookers" for what's her name.

Oh I'd be hella into word filters and stuff, if beast didn't get so butthurt already about the word filters from 2003-2005. I am just tired of the cycle... post insults and shit relentlessly until administrative action is taken, complain loudly about administrative action until it is undone, return to posting insults and shit.

I really don't want to ban wb. We're all grown-ups (ish, maybe not TIM even still) here... we can act like people. If wb doesn;t climb and hates everyone here, as his posts indicate, he should just leave on his own accord, with a big fuck you to the shiteaters. Would you stay in a room of people you hated, just to keep talking to them? No. You just leave and do your own thing. Or... if he doesn't hate us as much as his insults suggest, at what point do you get over the injustice of 2005 and stop accusing everyone of being a "shiteating liberal" in lengthy incoherent rants.

I just want a resolution. Either he should leave cuz he hates us and doesn't climb, or he should stay and be civil because he is choosing to associate with the shiteaters. One or the other... because again, when we delete or ban people, then ET has to screen all the registered users superclose and when the butthurt idiot finally gets thorugh, then I have to delete their stupid shit. At least the government IP address makes it easy to spot wb posting from work....

Might I make some suggestions?

government == gubmint
shiteater == sexy motherfucker
OMG == my sandy pussy hurts

And then I'd probably also do some random inserted text as well. Increment a word counter and after every 35 words posted by WB, insert a randomly selected quote from some gay porn site.

Also... this might provide some inspiration.

Or maybe people should stop responding to him?

Just put on a bunch of word filters and everyone set WB=ignore.

Just an idea....

And Lox.... that's ain't gonna happen.

For some people negative attention is better than no attention. And I think we can, sadly, assume that outside of B.Com there isn't a lot of attention (positive or otherwise) being paid to WB. I'm sure you've met people like this - lonely people who seem to seek out this sort of conflict and negative interaction to a degree that on the face of it seems entirely irrational. Trying to explain that negative interactions and attention feed this cycle and make the odds of a healthy relationship with anyone decreasingly likely is the sort of long-term thinking that people aren't very good at. And even if, rationally, they know you're right - after a couple days of isolation they'll be back for their next beating.

Yeah... sad. I know.

Well I can't set him on ignore for everyone. I can unselect "show posts" and not ban him, but thats like a ban. I can not let him post, but that may result in the registration thing.

Meh.

Sad.

how is you don't bitch about other members who make the original posts of shit but get your pussy in a knot when i do? are you a senseless motherfucker?

as fer werd filters, if you like 'em so much lox, why do you get all cunty when i say "loxcocksucker"?

well, ya know, when posters i disagree with, post "literal" pics of something disgusting in threads as a reaction to all the disgusting things i say to get everybodies attention in the only way i know how, and then i get called out for - by the posters i disagree with no less - for re-posting the same disgusting pixs, why does that happen?

how is you don't get upset about other members who make disgusting posts in response to my disgusting posts, but you get all bent out of shape when i do it as a response to their response? are you not being fair?

as for word filters, if you like them so much lox, why do you get all bent out of shape when i call you a derogatory name?
