Kaos 2 needs no break in period, but will eventually get super soft. Personally, I love this.

Solutions are my fave ever but have broke the straps on 2 pairs and have 3 friends who have done the same. Really shifty flaw in an otherwise unparalleled heelhook/toehook monster.

5.10 ftw. They are simply the best, fall apart, and are overpriced. Just like a nice sports car.

i was awaiting around for some fishermen. the 'talent' capsized their boat, and were scared to go out fishing. so the camera grrls and me, the boat driver, hung around.

then, on the way home- new location, new rock, gneiss, worked the most obvious problem, got as far as every move, and a few linkages. maybe 2.

My redpoint shoes recently died. Boreal Bamba. They're velcros, and they use plastic rings to cinch them tight, instead of metal like on my second favorite shoes, 5.10 Anasazi Velcros. The plastic broke on one shoe (I'm going to try to epoxy it back together).

Somethin bout these shoes, they fit me like a glove, and they withstand any move or cam I can think of. The only negative to the Bambas is you've gotta lightly sand them down; but when you do, they're super sticky.

Bad tightening technique dude. I've got a pair almost ready for 2nd resole, strap is fine... but they have stretched a little bit. If you're gonna keep 'em as long as I do go half size down. Now I've got a sloppy pair for workouts and a pair that fits for sending.

Very rugged shoe when you fall as often and hard as I do, and the only one that heelhooks well, but I still prefer mythos lace-ups for gay roped dabbery.
