Anyone try the new Sportiva TC Pro? Ankle cams are totally gonna be the hip move next year in Hueco.

The talon looks suitable to my taste. If those suck, I'll try Scarpa Boosters or Solutions.

NEW SHOES ARE FUN!!!

new "g2" model is perforated and breathes surprisingly well.

noticed a lot o folks rocking those the last time i was out.

also,

all the bad-assed climbing i've witnessed in the last two months was done in eVolve shoes.

m3 sl's are pretty rad too. a bit more flex than the mantas but they feel less clunky for edging.

You guess correctly. I love my Optimus Primes, Talons, and Kaos 2s with custom extra toehooking rubber. I'd prolly take the O Primes if I had to choose.

i've been partial to 5.10 verdes and i still have v10 for one problem.

i need an edging evolve shoe to replace my verdes.

i could ask somebody else, Ike, but i'm asking you, dude.

For a stiffer edging shoe, go with the Pontas lace, but they're super fugly. The kaos 2 edges great, bbut is also sensitive enough that I rock it on steeps too.

a friend in the know says the same thing, but that they have a break-in period... as opposed to my favorite geen shoe.

i'm not scared of the fugly factor - nothing fugly about shoes when they work!
