Well, it was the video and at the time when they released the camera, Nikon didn't have a 24mm PC lens, which they do now, which I still don't have.....

I thought the PC lenses work only with the D3. Am I mistaken?

What's wrong with a show that uses the same plot template for every episode? Why the hate? Also, can't you understand this is GROUNDBREAKING?!@@#@!

You have an incurable disease! Oh wait, I fixed you because the only cure is being filmed in HD by a 5d Canon camera! Product placement!

Clearly, you've never watched the show before. Nothing is incurable.

Patient in hospital getting worse
20 minutes into the show they "know" what it is and inject/surgery/whatever
Patient is now sicker!
House comments on the hospital admins boobs (they're nice boobs)
Someone breaks into the patient's house/office to discover something important about the illness
House comes along with his witty brains
OMFG THE PATIENT IS NOW SAVED

Anyone have experience with sling (messenger bag style) camera bags? I'm looking for something more suitable than I have now for my city exploring, either on foot or bike. I'm thinking enough for body + lens, 1 or 2 additional lenses, and a various crap compartment. The lure for the sling style is just for quick, easy access.

A few examples...

I have one of these:

Small, comfortable, and just large enough for camera, speedflash, and an extra lens of your choice.

Do you guys have Crumpler bags over there? The "million dollar home" bags, while retardedly named, are the dogs bollocks.

Google says yes, but their website doesn't want to play nicely with firefox on OSX, it appears.

That's because their website is horseshit flash abomination. But the bag looks great.

Agreed, on both counts. The good thing about the Crumpler bags is that they don't scream "camera bag!" like the Lowe bags do.

I don't see why anyone would ever need more than a D40. Its what I grab 99% of the time I leave the house to shot some shitty shots no one ever looks at. I mean all you ever need is that or a Leica M9. What else is there.

I went with a Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW. Loaded one with lenses and gear from my local Ritz, and it fit very well. The weight seems well balanced, and the waist strap helps keep the load off the shoulder. Happy so far.

This lil guy fell out of his nest and is being protected by 4 very large, and aggressive adult forest ravens. They followed me half-way to the coffee shop this morning, dive bombing me the whole way...

Recommend a point and shoot. HD video capability, good in low light, filled with win and no suck. No price limit. Go.
