central and South Americans - legal or illegal make this country run and do all of the jobs American's think they are "too good for". This pathetic and disabling economy has at least made some American's open their eyes just a little bit, but even in this situation many feel they are too good or too entitled to tak e ajob they deem to be below their station, instead convicning themselves it is o.k. to take handouts from the government in lieu of a paying job that they could never stoop so low as to engage in.

I have absolutely no problem with allowing south and central americans, or those from any other country come to work here but under a few conditions:

- Document them (work permits)
- Tax them (you want to benefit, you pay into the system)
- enforce the hell out of employment regulations, fining the hell out of those not keepign conditions up to OSHA standards, those not documenting their workers and those not providing the environment and pay that our laws guarantee.

i agree- there's a strong argument from efficiency for humans to be as free as capital.

there's also the ethical dimension of the corralling of human beings
