Pru, whats the next mod?

forward controls and new handlebars are first and foremost. Thinking of getting rid of some of the fucking chrome, too - it's such a pain in the ass to care for. May have some parts powdercoated. Dunno.

I actually wish I had a whole different bike now that I've been riding for a few years, but I'm stuck with this one due to college tuitions for the spawn, so oh well.

that accident was horrifying. Right after I read about it this weekend some stupid bitch tailgated me for fucking 15 miles while I was on my bike. I so wish it was legal to lob hand grenades at idiots.

The dump truck driver was "shuffling through papers." Mother fuck.

You should try singletrack. I'm sure the harley experience is satisfying... I just like the endor-speeder-through-trees effects I get while on ST.

there's just no place around here to ride other than the road, unfortunately. I had a dirt bike when I was a kid and loved it, so maybe one of these days I'll get another.

there's really nothing where I live (very wealthy, snobbish Republican county). I'd have to trailer it up to get to any riding, and I'd rather go climbing or paddling if I'm going to travel for fun. The trails I frequent around where I live don't allow even bicycles.

well if it helps, I do live in the most modest neighborhood in this town. I say I live in the slums of (my town) and people say, "there are no slums there" but man, the wealth all around me is disgusting. And no, that's not envy. I'd rather live in a trailer on 20 acres to be honest. I fucking hate suburbia with every fiber of my being.

tried to use motorcycle like boat, now she's dead.

pushing a 280 lb dirtbike through sand for two miles is awesome, you should try it some time. sick shoulder workout.

flushed four quarts oil through the crankcase and seafoamed the mother lovin shit out of it. siphoned the cylinder. still no dice.

That's so sad, I almost forgot to call dab.

i've been getting away with "hey i'll just punch it up this creek, can't be too deep lol!" for way too long. i was bound to dab at some point. and that dab was indeed of epic proportions.

thanks for that link, VTP. but i have a suspicion that it's seized. i hope i'm wrong. there are some ugly sounds coming from the top end when i try and turn it over. i don't think i bent the crankarm, though. so i got that going for me.
