Out on a walk last week I saw my old bike. Only it wasn't my old bike, as that had been bent to shit from hitting a car. No, this was my old bike's alternate universe bike in this universe.

Miyata.

I loved that frame.

Why can't I read the name brand on the downtube? Is that because is was 'shopp'd out? Did is say "Ross"? 'cause it looks like a Ross bike to me from here.

Woot! That was my first bike ever. Loved it so. Many memories including getting chased down by neighbors dobermans. We used to taunt them and one day they got out and chased us. Three of them! One bit me in the arse and as it did my foot slipped from the pedal and kicked the dog in the face, stopping it. I think it bit its tongue. We were yelling loud enough for half the hood to hear. I Had to get a shot that night. I think my mom gave it away at some point.

I got a nice Selle Italia Ti Flite in red leather from a friend for less than $20.

Looks hot on the stumpjumper.

Just got a new Serfas for my fat ass.

Didn't realize how uncomfortable the old one was until I took it off. Also: put on the suspension fork.

Hello singletrax. How are you?
