How many races did Ned Overend win on it?

That's the real question.

I still had about 96 miles to go when this shot was taken 33 hours into the Furnace Creek 508.

hey Tronic or whoever......

have any of you guys sampled a set up like this?

the way i ride, i'm never in the drops (ever) and i'm thinking of changing to something like this. was thinking mustache for a minute,
but want more straight bar at the stem and would be psyched to sit up more.

also, i don't want to have to change from my down tube shifter set-up. could change to bar-end, but would rather not spend.

just worried that i will be too cramped by the swept back part of the bar when turning or something...? am i missing something?

going to get a sprung saddle.

You'll have to get used to turning while being upright and not leaning much.

Your back will thank you.

It will ride like a bike.

That bar setup is great for townies.

i hooked up an old set of cruser bars on my bar bike SS. love it, except for when your drunk and doing doughnuts and get your knee caught up in all that swooped back metal.

If all you're doing is cruising around like a fat old man then drops serve no purpose. Do it.
