did you use a flash for that? Or was the bird just walking in a natural beam of light? Cool shot.

Thanks. No flash. It was just a nice diffuse light and I added a vignette in post.

that would make you the last person on this forum to put these pieces of information together.

how is the night tour, btw? i am jealous that some of you may actually be climbing in the Hueco Tanks right now. I am intoxicated and just returned to the flat from a house party. rage.

I just got a 550D with battery grip, 4 batteries, an 8gb and a 16gb memory card for $700. I also got a Canon 70-200 f/4 for $500 from a friend who is switching to Nikon. Rad.

And since you're shooting cropped it's more like 100-300. How do you like the 550d so far? Opinions on video? And yes, I realize you've only had it a short while. I'm curious!

i'm not jealous of the lens, but i will be jealous when you get that full sensor rig.

full sensor would make it so easy to cover up all my mistakes....

Cops killed an aggressive panhandler that tried to shoot them. One block from my apartment. Good times.

I assume that red liquid behind the open car door is the deceased's.

These have been in my empty DSLR box for a few years now.

The Nikon feels nice. The lens is solid. Japan! I should snag a bit o' film and do something with it.
