wow.. what a horrid game. that will NEVER be on "ESPN Classics". terrible game for the first 7/8's of the game. the Lakers lucked out kinda-sorta. oddly, Ron Artest s/b the NBA Finals MVP. but they'll give it to Kobe. but not for his putrid 6-24 FG shooting. he did stack up some boards.

overall, the Lakers X-Factor wound up being Artest. he went from horrid O in worthless games to clutch O in games that mattered. but his D never faltered. he gets the nod for MVP from me.

i gotta give myself credit for a change. i told my bud that the Celts were probably better with Wallace in the game and they were. blah blah.. it's over. the greatest rivalry in sports lives on.
