Damnit. Shit's hard to do when I'm riding a fixie against all these pro-am cyclists and their $5K roadies. I need some gearsz.

doggedly riding a single speed in a road bike race is a legitimate act of defiance and will. or get another bike if possible,
who wouldn't want to go professional amateur?

competition works until you're about 28-42, then you realize you peaked last season and why pour energy into your own sliding performance. then you coach.

There's something profoundly narcissistic and screwed up about spending you whole life training to be better than everyone else.

dont worry, chasing money and power is a fucked up and narcissistic way to maintain that competetive vibe way past 42.

Boys are weird. I still don't get the uber-competitive types.
I climb. Outside. It's fun. I train indoors on walls and weights because I want to be able to pull a move outside. I have strong years and rebuilding years. I'm currently having a strong year.
