I like the people who don't understand the rotation in a busy session or gym. Like 15 people are huddled under some sick 7b+ (v8, bro) and taking turns brushing the holds after their attempt so the next person can get freshies and someone comes up and fondles the hold. The hate is palpable.

But I get where it comes from when I go to the gym and see people just gathered next to the wall while each of them, in turn, falls off the third move of a problem that is way too hard for them and then have to discuss why and mimic hip positions and then try again and then fall off again and converse again, all RIGHT NEXT TO THE WALL. Like fucking get out the fucking way, and check your shit from a distance because other people are using this space too.

These are the mooney eyed fucks decked out in pants from the gym's shop fondling your well brushed holds.

fuckin' word? Every time I brush a problem using the jugs on the 6b+ next to the 7b+, getting all pumped, 4 dudes come and session the rig after dipping into your chalk. That's worst case scenario though. Then 3 hot chicks come and campus the v10 next to it 'for training'. This is the world I live in. It's like the Pipeline of climbing.

No peleton action here, but a lot of running shorts and yoga pants with the ladies uni crew. Dudes are in gym shorts. I generally just avoid those areas, unless there's something I really want to do there, in which case I ask if I can give pink tape a go. They usually leave and stuff.

A middle-aged guy (dad?) who boulders in the gym after running. Complete in gel pack belt and reflective tank top and nut sack shorts. At least he washes his hands before he joins in. But I sometimes feel like I'm in a weird dream. He boulders with the Team Texas kids, who are a bit intense themselves.

Dalan and company? I watched those guys on this V12 in the Meddle Shop, and they all fucking dabbed. This one kid Tyler full on kicked the ground at the crux. High fives all around, called it a send. I was like WTF.

People watching that group is truly entertaining.

Yeah, unless you don't give a shit and just want to go to a different zone on tour... We'd been there for three hours and they were too scared to pad up injury man.

HOWEVER. Highlight by far was watching the "strongest" dude on team texas FAIL at sending Slim Pickens. He was infuriated, he blamed his shoes, and it was fabulous.

Did he kick the wall? That's usually when I have to walk away to keep from laughing.
