NEVER FORGET.
It's like we used to lure noobs in here with the promise of robust boldering discussion and then WHAM oh you just got your dome rocked, son!!1 But now, we don't even want to bother with noobs or proving how awesome all our lives are because we did that, we know how awesome we each are, how in our respective fields, our areas, our local scenes we are the alphapeeps. Without anything to prove, we just come here and stare at each other's posts, like regulars eyeing each other across the bar from their prospective stools, going shot for shot, silently, judgementally. Eyes narrowed to slits, waiting for the other to make the first move. Its because the internet isn't anonymous anymore, we are all tweeting each other, we are all facebook friends, we all got jobs where we have to wear bigboy pants and a thousand other reasons. And even though the world has moved on, I for one am ecstatic this place still exists, that I can peek in on who we were, back when we were kings and the scene lay in ruins at our mighty feet.

What Lox says. That pretty much sums it up actually. Sometimes so much talking isn't necessary for a decent conversation. Lesson i learned in the woods...
Busy doing ski wax technician work over the exam break in val di fiemme, dolomites, Italy. Day in, day out, like a boss.
Checked out the la sportiva factory here, located kid's shoes for a 4 year old of a friend. The mum is a gymnast. Baby Jane will crush. Also they still have cobras, MIA in Canada for years, factory discount++

Because I hate all of you.
And because when I moved to the new job in Atlanta I no longer had B.com access during the day, so kind of just stopped posting all the time.
But yeah, now we lurk on facebook.

no b.com mobile app
no reception where I climb all the days anyway
the office/desk/chair/mouse/keyboard/waste away the day until I get paid paradigm is obsolete.
we are out here touch screening real life now.

tremendously grateful to all of you who i've met IRL and all you've done for me
tremendously grateful to all of you whom i haven't met but who still manage to be supportive assholes anyway
with more than a decade spent posting on this waste of time it would be dishonest to say this hasn't been a formative experience
pffffffft

This place ain't dead. It's dormant. Like the mighty tortoise waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting head of lettuce.
