I'm planing a trip to Hueco tanks and want to try and set up a housing swap. I live in Chattanooga, TN and live near Little Rock city, Rocktown, T wall, Foster Falls, and more, and Horsepens 40 is just 2 hours away. I'd like to try and set up a swap for December, from roughly December 11- January3. I have a 5 month old and camping in the desert sounds unrealistic this year. Message me for details!

haha, my husband loves hueco and has an academic calendar, so we go when he has time off. As for missing the season here? We'll have the rest of the year to enjoy it :-)

Your best bet is elpaso.craigslist.org and trying to find someone on homeaway to rent your house. The number of climbers living in el paso is growing, but still not a huge scene. good luck and STFU NOOB

The only thing I think is cool about this place is the wacky weather, though my two and a half hour drive to Abbott from downtown yesterday was a treat.

You can't stop the sugar momma's before they start producing sugar, duh. I did pull in So Ill last weekend, was 'only' 10 hours or so of driving. Not awful rock at all, several moderate tall ones were quite nice. I'll see if I can't finally contribute to pictures when I go over the camera.
