shitty cell phone pics is the best I can do, but we could see flames from where we were in the first picture, about 2.5 hours after the fire had first been reported. watched from a hill north of downtown last night as the fire crowned on the ridgeline. unfucking real.

the smoke has reached as far as eastern NE by now. 10k+ acres. I saw something the other day on the interwebs all "omfg you can see the oil spill from space. I'm so depressed now." retard. you can see a lot of things from space. including this fire, or rather, the smoke from it.
