when is it cool to build a terrace under a boulder problem to create a safe flat landing?

when is it not cool?

Where worms = shit. That thread was about rap for too many posts for me to find the point about landings. Can o shit.

So glad we don't have the skullfarming Utahrd scene.

Some of those Joe's landings that were built under boulders that had already been climbed, or were built under people's project(s), after the request not to build them, well, some of them are pretty weak sauce.

There is a big difference between a bunch of logs and completely reconstructing the hillside to the point where land managers can see it from the road.

so to answer the question, it's not cool when it poses the potential to harm everyone's access.

Who built the landing under my project and impactd my access is going to be the who bolted my project and climbed my red tagged route of boldering.

I call dab for requesting that "nobody" do something. How unrealistic is that expectation? Again... skullfarmin' Utahrds.

If you spit off like 3 ft from that horizontral traverse you're totally gonna break a spine. I'm gonna write up a project bid to reevaluate the area and ensure climber safety while minimizing the impact of relevant user groups.

yeah, hilarious.

hey it's father's day!

so cut me a break (will ya?)

my intentions were good,

but the truth is:

boulderers can't do anything together for anyone!

it has been naive of me to try and prove otherwise.

total skullfarm.

i'm just going to go climbing.

A multi-tiered terrace structure, complete with foam-board decking has been tentatively approved for The Triangle Boulder, Wifebeater, Money Shot, Heart Cave (to protect cultural resources), and The BVB roof. Illegals have agreed to do all necessary labor in exchange for a bus ride to the "promised land" of California. All materials are to be acquired from ongoing FUSD projects under the cover of night.
