The Southeast, as long as it's not raining.

I've heard good things about Potrero, except the extreme choss.

J Tree? I had fun there in January.

Don't know how many times I have to tell you this, Tonic, but Hueco is never "full" or "closed." Pay for tours, some of the best boulder problems you'll ever encounter are in the backcountry. Pay Pander or one of the many other b.commers there to take you guys out (they're basically all guides). Serious. The only fail would be if you went to Rocklands during their summer and skipped Hueco cuz you thought it would be "full."

Red rocks is a close second if you want sport mixed in, cuz the bouldering is only OK, and Bishop will have great sending temps, but will be miserably cold, with the possibility that the best bouldering will be burried under three feet of snow (as I imagine it is right now with the steady rain we've got down south.)

It is also true that the Ozarks are sick, and I could hook you up with friends there, but it's not much of a honeymoon spot.

GO TO HUECO!

Or Potrero...

It got me from 1/2-pitch bouldering endurance to 20-pitch endurance in a couple of weeks. I now have 5-move endurance, but it was fun then to climb big rocks with bolts. It's always good to have a strong partner...

Did you wear a helmet the whole time? A friend of mine almost lost her jaw when her partner peeled a jug rest off of one of the classic routes.

Also, where did you stay? (I'm considering a trip.)
