if slabs are all anyone ever climbs there then you might as well just send me the money because i am pretty good at slabs and i can even hang off of vertical rocks and rocks that are overhanging but only a little

i train everyday on my pull up bar

it would save me the trip and entrance fee and you the embarrassment and entrance fee

Frail-minded, grade-inflating ego-driven cowards avoid this hole-in-the-wall dive. Sometimes the piece of dented tin we call a door is opened and a random n00b peers into the gloom. He or she sees our haunted but vicious eyes, ravenous for tender psyche to burrow into. Unwilling to tick the jug, give a power spot, or often not even bother to put our pretentious but potent beer down long enough to give any spot at all, calling dab at the slightest and usually imagined transgression, brutally and painfully honest, we are the embarrassing uncle of the climbing family, amusing and tolerated but always staggering along that fine line between affection and molestation.

I just realized we are like the American Legion of the rockclimbing world. A buncha crusty ol' vets, sitting around drinking MGD and waiting for Friday's Fish Fry. I have this one story about the Battle for Hueco, where I painfully recount my speech at the public hearing for the umpteenth time. I'm always pissed because Elblat has to get up to empty his colostomy bag at the good part every damn day. Later, WB will overturn the bridge table because of the "shiteaters."
