here's a tip to people who think el pasito makes a good burrito. right up the road is la carniceria las vaquillas. take a left at the vista. left on san sebastion, and then right on ascencion. it's on your left just past la banana grocery. el pasito is for gringos, makes sub-par burritos, and the word on the street is they're gonna close soon..

had it solo for a good hour.
I snarled when 4 guys showed up and started playing some french hip hop shit.
they sat quietly, cowering and averting my glare until I left.

The only good thing about el pasito is the the price of a burrito.

Plus, it was just big enough to tide me over until i got back to the campground to cook up some Vista Market beef fajitas served with avocado, on fresh corn tortillas and doused with chile arbol, or pico de gallo.

Lox, that tomatillo and avocado salsa is terrible.

Can't wait to get back out climbing after this storm passes.

Gonna get pastries at the Vista on our way back to the campsite as soon as my laundry is done.

Love Hueco Tanks.

You seem to have figured it all out alright. The fresh pico de gallo from the Vista is where it's at.

Gah! Negative 5 degrees with the wind chill. And we're in the Lowes parking lot replacing the electrical connection on the RV. Not what i had in mind for my climbing trip.

Yesterday we did laundry.

Whoo-Hoo.
