Drogba and Ferdinand OUT. Ferdinand is no big loss, but Drogba certainly is.

US vs Socceroos game is tonight. Bring it.

Kangaroos need to stop screwing soccer moms in your country.

I will concede that it's a pretty gay name, although our Olympic soccer team is called the Olyroos - and that's way gayer. Anyway, hopefully both teams come through with no injuries.

after watching that game, i can come to understand some of the shit being talked about the new match ball. that thing had a life of its own. keepers will alway bitch about a new match ball, but the number of rebounds given by two top notch GKs and strong crosses going errant from folks who don't send errant passes isn't something to sneeze at.

Yeah, I didn't see the game, but from all reports we were gash. Hopefully it's the wake up call we needed.

We've been playing with a lone striker throughout the whole qualifying campaign, and now, with a week to go, we switch to 4-4-2. WTF?

all i noticed was how the frenchies cringed as the ball -racing at their heads - took a turn to the left and just missed their faces.

Apparently they learned 3 hours before the game that one of the squad was leaving because his 4 yo son had been diagnosed with leukemia. Puts the game into perspective, really.
