I think it's part of the formula for trolling. For example, WB suggests that I have "caused" his behavior because of admin editing of his posts, wordfilters, or straight up deleting his crap. However, he won't take responsibility for what "caused" those things to be done to him. For the troll, he pushes the limits until he has been singled out and steps have been taken by the private administration to administer their private site as they see fit. Then, the troll cries foul, cites "free speech" and plays the victim card as an excuse to be a total tool for the next however long, in this case like 4 - 6 years. Anytime anyone tries to tell him he's still a doosh, he plays the victim "oh, but you caused me to act this way."
