La Vieilli Ferme- this is our standard party wine. learned this from my prof, who had learned this exceptionally well. happy little rooster.

tonight 'mas des bressades', costieres de nimes, some kind of late harvest grenache blanc. is good. au lobster in the same wine reduced with shallots and butter and cream, sopped up with grilled ciabbatta, steak on the side, grilled tomatoes and baby potatoes. heaven bless te french and their indulgences.
