Any Colorado Folks Interested In Buying Used Crash Pads?

Postby Boulder_Bum » Sun Dec 21, 2014 11:00 pm

I have three crash pads (a double-stuffed Misty Mountain, a Metolius and a Cordless if I remember correctly).

They've just been hanging in my garage for years since I got married and had a bunch of kids, and now I'm considering selling them to help pay for Christmas stuff.

Would anyone in Colorado be interested in buying some old, used crash pads? We can talk details, if so.

Like a real, honest to goodness Cordless with the Cordless logo and the shit foam or a newer Revolution "Cordless" with the velcro.

I need a matching pad for my vintage chalkpot.

Well don't beat yourself up over it. The inevitable re-foam process would render it modded, not stock, at the value would go down.

But it would really be the only way to truly enjoy those throwback thursday sessions.

Sorry for the late reply.

I was trying to figure out an easy way to post a pic of my Colorado-winter-pale, hairy man titties per jlane's instructions, but gave up after minimal trouble, went on with my life, then sort of forgot about this till now. Probably better off for it.

Anyhoo, it's a black and beige vintage Cordless, circa the late 90s. I actually replaced the foam and stuffed the original in the Misty pad for extra thick cushion.

If anyone is interested, I can post pics, though it might be expensive to ship it to Austin or Flagstaff ot wherever you are now, Lox.

I might be into the double stuffed misty. How much? Will you stash it at rmnp for me?

I have a few pads stashed at the gunks that are for sale too, for any east coasters out there. One is supposedly at forbidden Forrest and the other is out past the hunter cabin in the horseshoe zone of WW. Cheap$! Monochrome.

Sorry to disappoint.

It looks like new Highlanders go for $250, so maybe $100 for the used double-stuffed one?

I don't know my way around RMNP, unfortunately, but I was thinking of going up to the mountains with my family one day over the holiday weekend, so I could probably meet you somewhere.

Shit... Whooze sellin' the Maxi Pads these days? Rite-Aid? Walgreens?

Everybody and their goddamned brother is "bouldering" these days. GTFO, all of you (I say this in the most endearing way possible, of course).

But yeah, I regret selling my 1997 vintage Cordless pad too. Bought the damned thing from Jim John Johnny Wallace hisself out of a beat down old Cadillac with horns in the parking lot at Hueco Pete's back in the day... I rue the day I sold that damned thing to some chuffer at the gym for $40. At least my new Organic (organic nylon, wtf?) pad can take a beating...
