Duh. The amount of people being prescribed Xanax for panic attacks who then just abuse the drug is way too high. The prescription for panic attacks should be "learn to chill the fuck out."

doesn't it seem that the drug comes first, and the reasons for it afterwards? chill the fuck out indeed. excellent advice.

MASSIVE crash at Reno air show. Plane crashed into crowd killing many many people... Watch online videos at your own peril. Gnarly dead bodies and mangled limbs in plane view.

Split second before impact.

I skipped around but at around 45:00 there is footage of a guy laying there with the tattered remnants of his legs chopped off at mid thigh. Rescuers covered in spattered blood up to their calves. Look closer. Body parts strewn around...

Another air show accident in West Virginia. I pretty much think that anyone who goes to an airshow is stupid and asking to die. Old equipment that may malfunction, flown by amateur and generally aging pilots, deliberately flown close the spectators for a "good look." Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I did enjoy the Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian.

Little kids generally shouldn't have to worry about the safety of the events they attend. That is a job for parents and other responsible adults.

But hey. You got to see cool planes and you survived. And now we all pay.

Cost of not being able to just chill the fuck out now very deadly as doctor/dealers move painkiller and anxiety med deaths higher than car accident deaths:

http://www.latimes.com/health/la-me-dru ... 6090.story

I suppose being anxious over the high number of drug deaths warrants a Xanax prescription, eh?!? SMP people.

if you could send a message faster than light, “You could send a telegram to the past.”

European physicists plan to announce Friday that it has clocked a burst of subatomic particles known as neutrinos breaking the cosmic speed limit — the speed of light — that was set by Albert Einstein in 1905.

There's an article the huffpost about this with the subject "Researchers Believe Particle Traveled Faster Than Light, Rocking Major Theories". No, that's not correct. They don't believe particles traveled faster than light. They observed that and want other scientists to verify their findings.

F'n shitpile news industry.

indeed pmahnn, i concur.

http://www.digitaltrends.com/web/yahoo-blocked-emails-about-occupy-wall-street-protest/

my question is under what kind of mechanism would yahoo report doing this kind of thing, and to whom? would this be a kind of soft expectation and mutual understanding, an overlapping of corporate interests, or would there be some kind of security mechanism in play, i.e. the state? or are they just scared in a mutually sustaining way?

twitter makes for the perfect corporate apology- quickly forgotten.

Beat me to it. There's another vid circulating that shows the cops taking down and arresting with vigor, peaceful protestors. Makes you want to revolt. Or buy a cabin and a shit load of guns and move to Montana.
