Joe's Valley Guide

Joe's Valley Guide

Postby RobOnglious » Sun Jul 24, 2011 7:39 pm

I'm thinking about going to Joe's Valley next week anyone know of a guidebook that's downloadable? I know it might rain, saturday is the day for me.

It's freaking hot at the moment isn't it??? Let me know if you've been there recently, or if anyone knows of cooler areas that are close to SLC. I'm just trying to squeeze in some bouldering on a work trip.

Thanks, I was on this forum WAAAAY back in the day. Is LOX still around? I passed the majority of my work day here.

Sup ese... Joe's is going to be hot this time of year but you can always climb higher up and climb earlier. Swim in the reservoir during the day.

I dunno about a good guidebook...

Wow, great picture. Which one is that?

I actually climbed near the author way back when I first started climbing. I was humbled immediately... that's the way it goes I guess.

I'm shooting for saturday which might be nice and cool or raining.

Thanks for your help, are there any problems I shouldn't miss? Probably >8 unless it's slabby and crimpy, then I drop off to something like >6.
