Never went to a camp that I wasn't working at. Went to the local lake and explored the surrounding area. Pops took me camping on weekends.

Back home for a couple days. More of the same old thing tomorrow. Gonna go try and find some of the forts I built as a kid.

Things I built in the woods 10 years ago are still standing and functional.

Fort is short for fortified, bitch.

when we were 12 or something a friend up the road and i built a log cabin- actually his older brother had started it, but got tired somewhere around dwarf height. so shop chop chop and we've got a cabin in the swamp.

i always liked the idea of organized camps, but as they turned out they were mostly disorganized.

second series of forts involved an alligator boat and some ditches surprised with tripwires and waterballoons. that was awesome. there was a murder at that time and we were questioned by the police. it was all innocent war games though.
